WHAT DOES UPWARD BOUND PROVIDE?

 

             Academic Preparation for College:

  •      - College Preparatory Courses

  •      - After School Tutorials & Saturday Test Preparation Seminars (TAKS, ACT, SAT, and THEA).

  •      - 6 Week Summer Session on the UTSA campus held June 8 thru  July 17th, 2009.

           

            Educational & Career Planning:

  •      - Academic Advising

  •      - College & Career Exploration

  •      - College & Career Field Trips

 

College Admissions & Financial Aid Information:

  •      -  PSAT, SAT/ACT & THEA Information, Registration Materials, & Fee Waivers
     

  •      - Individual Assistance with College Admissions Applications
     

  •      - Individual Assistance with Scholarship & Financial Aid Applications
     

  •      - UB participants may also qualify to receive a monthly stipend based on their attendance and participation.
