I'm David Tober, a non-traditional student. I returned to college after a 30-year absence. I started my career at San Antonio College where I earned an Associate's Degree. While there, I worked in the Grammar lab of the English Department. First, as a student assistant, which taught me how to tutor in grammar. I then became a writing tutor. As such, I work one-on-one with students. I enjoy the work and the challenges it presents. I have been tutoring for 8 years. I transferred to UTSA, to earn my Bachelor's Degree. I started working at the Writing Center in May 08 right after graduating from UTSA. I now work at both San Antonio College and at UTSA. Both provide me with different challenges and experiences.
