Timothy Braun is a writer living in Austin, TX. He has been awarded residencies at the MacDowell Colony, Djerassi, HERE Arts Center, Edward Albee Foundation, and a Warhol Fellowship at the Santa Fe Art Institute. His plays and operas have been presented in The Asylum (NV), The Bowery Poetry Club (NY), Ensemble Studio Theater (NY), The Flea (NY), The Loft (CO), The Ohio (NY), La Mama (NY), Ontological-Hysteric Theater (NY), Riverside Theater (Ireland), Salvage Vanguard (TX), Seattle Fringe (WA), Theatre X (NM), The Vern Riffe Center (OH), The California Institute of the Arts (CA), and Ιστορία in Athens, Greece. His "64" multi-media piece was produced at The Re/Mix Festival in New York in 2011. The Columbia Review, Euphony, Paper Wall, and Word Riot have published his work, among others. Braun is a frequent contributor to the Austin Chronicle, culturebot.org, is the Editor-In-Chief of New and Social Media for Fusebox, and is the founder of the blog.spot Federal Prisoner 30664.
