Manjit Kaur received her B.A. Honors and M.A. in medieval British literature from Panjab University Chandigarh (India). She made the Dean's List throughout her college years, and was awarded the best student award and a full merit scholarship for her Masters in English. Along with her academic achievements Manjit was also a college debate champion (1995).

Manjit has been serving UTSA since August 2004. She is a certified internet (Blackboard) course developer and instructor. She has developed and is currently teaching Freshman Composition II (WRC 1023) Argumentative writing courses online. She also teaches Freshman Composition I & II classes on campus. Most recently Manjit has developed a brand new Composition II (1023) course: specializing in teaching argumentation to the Engineering students.

Along with teaching freshman writing courses on campus and online, Manjit also teaches introductory literature (Composition) courses as a part-time instructor at San Antonio college English department.

Manjit is married to a Mechanical Engineer, and has two boys. In her free time Manjit likes to read, run, listen to music, dance, paint, and most of all play and spend time with her boys.
