Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Degree in Infancy and Childhood Studies
The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (B.A.A.S.) degree in Infancy and Childhood Studies emphasizes the study of language and reading in early childhood development. The minimum number of semester credit hours for the B.A.A.S. degree in Infancy and Childhood Studies is 120, including Core Curriculum requirement hours. Thirty-nine of the 120 total semester credit hours required for the degree must be at the upper-division level.
Core Curriculum requirements: Students seeking the Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences degree in Infancy and Childhood Studies must fulfill University Core Curriculum requirements in the same manner as other students. The courses listed in the table below satisfy both degree requirements and Core Curriculum requirements; however, if these courses are taken to satisfy both requirements, then students will need to take additional courses in order to meet the minimum number of semester credit hours required for this degree.
