Minor in Biology

The Minor in Biology is open to all majors in the University. All students pursuing the minor must complete a minimum of 19 semester credit hours of Biology courses. It should be noted that students seeking a minor must also complete applicable support coursework in chemistry, computer science, physics, mathematics and statistics as needed to fulfill the normal prerequisites for any course listed below.

  1. 10 semester credit hours of required courses:

To declare a Minor in Biology, obtain advice, or seek approval of substitutions for course requirements, students should consult the undergraduate advisor in the College of Sciences Undergraduate Advising Center.
