The Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General Business
is an interdisciplinary program within the College of Business. The
minimum number of semester credit hours for this degree is 120.
All candidates seeking this degree must fulfill the Core Curriculum
requirements, the Common Body of Knowledge requirements, and the degree
requirements, which are listed below. Top
Core Curriculum requirements:
Students seeking the Bachelor of Business Administration degree in General
Business must fulfill University Core Curriculum requirements in the
same manner as other students. The courses listed in the table below
satisfy both degree requirements and Core Curriculum requirements; however,
if these courses are taken to satisfy both requirements, then students
will need to take additional courses in order to meet the minimum number
of semester credit hours required for this degree. For a complete listing

Common Body of Knowledge (CBK)
In addition to the Core Curriculum requirements and requirements of
the College of Business Common Body of Knowledge (CBK), all candidates
for the degree must complete the following degree requirements. Top

BLW 3023 Business Organizations and Commercial

MGT 3023 Understanding People and Organizations
MKT 4013 Marketing Management
9 additional semester credit hours of upper-division courses in the
College of Business, of which no more than 6 semester credit hours can
be in any one discipline in the college and at least 3 semester credit
hours must be at the 4000 level.
