A general study of microorganisms, their characteristics, isolation, growth,

1883 Introduction to Clinical Laboratory Sciences
(3-0) 3 hours credit. Prerequisite: CHE 1103 is recommended.
Overview of the profession of clinical laboratory sciences, including the clinical
laboratory and its functions, relationship of physiological and pathological
specimens to body systems, and medical terminology and medical laboratory calculations.
2043 Nutrition
(3-0) 3 hours credit. Prerequisites: BIO 1113 and BIO 1122, or AHS 2103.
An examination of human nutritional needs from infancy to adulthood. [TCCN:
