What we do
University Marketing handles requests from university colleges and departments with a variety of marketing needs, including promotion and communications. We offer services, support and guidance to fulfill your needs.
We ask that you use our new AtTask project management system to submit your requests. Logging project details and recording communications in AtTask will improve tracking for all requests for University Marketing services. To log in to AtTask, visit our Support page.
All external communications are subject to review by the Office of University Marketing to ensure brand and editorial consistency among the many departments and colleges at UTSA. For more information about the review policy, refer to Chapter 4.22 of the Handbook of Operating Procedures.
Overview of Services
Advertising
University Marketing can assist you in creating a media plan and schedule, and copywriting and design of ads. We also can submit your ad to the appropriate publications or billboards.
Please submit your ads to University Marketing for review before publication. We are charged with ensuring that all UTSA communications are consistently on brand. For more information about the review policy, refer to Chapter 4.22 of the Handbook of Operating Procedures.
Design
Send your ideas and text to University Marketing, and our design team can craft polished marketing collateral.
Editorial
Our editors can review your written materials for consistency in brand messaging, clarity and style. Make your piece more persuasive and meaningful with suggestions from an impartial perspective.
Web
University Marketing’s web team builds new websites and migrates existing sites to the UTSA brand template. In addition to managing the content and presence of the main utsa.edu homepage, we also supervise many of the other sites under the domain or coordinate with areas that have a dedicated web administrator.
Communications | Email and Direct Mail
University Marketing can design direct mail and email pieces to be sent to alumni, donors and other external audiences. We can schedule sending of mass email marketing pieces.
Photography
You may request a photographer for your events.
Video Production
You may schedule a production team for video creation.
