Mission Statement:

The mission of the Division of University Advancement is to support the University's many instructional, research and public service programs through successful fundraising, communications and alumni activities to position UTSA as a premier research university focused on access and excellence.

Vision Statement:

The Division of University Advancement will help position The University of Texas at San Antonio as the next public premier research university in Texas by increasing private giving to the University through positive relationships with alumni, corporations, foundations and other friends and organizations; by keeping the various stakeholders and constituencies informed of the activities of the University and its students, faculty and staff; and by maintaining strong and productive ties with UTSA's growing cadre of alumni throughout the world.

Core Values:

The Division of University Advancement subscribes to the core values as stated in A Shared Vision: UTSA 2016:
