Texas Folklife Festival Thanks UTSA Partners

From Jo Ann Andera, CFEE
Director, Special Events, Institute of Texan Cultures

The 46th annual Texas Folklife Festival is behind us, and I wanted to take this opportunity to send a heartfelt thanks to the people that make it happen.    As we do each year we have our challenges, but with your help we seem to rise above it and continue to produce a wonderful event for our community. A HUGE thank you to all…this was one of our best years.  The weather was fantastic.  Our attendance was steady over the three days. Overall, visitors that were here had a great time and enjoyed all the wonderful food, music, crafts and each other. As you know, we are going to be going through some changes but I am looking forward to once again producing an event with your help that makes all of us proud. Please extend my thanks to everyone below for a job well done!

Our heroes……
