Etiquette Dinners

Come and learn the art of fine dining while enjoying a delicious four-course meal! This is an excellent opportunity to polish your skills and learn all about social dining etiquette. At some point in your job search process, you will be invited to eat during an interview, so Career Center wants to help you be prepared. Seniors and graduate students are strongly encouraged to attend. Employers are demanding that new hires are well-versed in the social graces. According to a survey conducted by an independent research firm, 49 percent of chief financial officers said their most successful business meetings, outside the office, were conducted at a restaurant. Furthermore, employers say that a person's table manners (or lack thereof) may be a deciding factor in securing a signed contract.
