Intelligent Biomedical Research - When Biomedical Data Meet Artificial Intelligence
February 21, 2020
9:00 - 10:00 AM
UT Health San Antonio Greehey Children's Cancer Research Institute
Yufei Huang, PhD
Professor and Associate Chair on Research for Electrical and Computer Engineering, UTSA
The Seminars in Translational Research (STRECH) series is a collaborative project among the:
- UT Health San Antonio’s Institute for Integration of Medicine and Science (IIMS) / Novel Clinical and Translational Methodologies
- UTSA-UT Health San Antonio Joint Graduate Program in Biomedical Engineering (BME)
The IIMS program is supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH).
The seminars bring together investigators from basic, clinical, and social sciences to highlight the bidirectional and multiple stages of the scientific translation of research discoveries from the bench to the bedside and to the community. It promotes the formation of multidisciplinary teams from both institutions, and other IIMS partners, that foster the development of innovative theories, approaches, and technologies in clinical and translational research.
Seminars are held monthly, alternating between the UTSA and UT Health San Antonio campuses.
