Registration Information

  • All registrations for the AP® Summer Institute are completed online. On-site registrations are not allowed.

  • To register for a workshop, visit your preferred workshop page for detailed information and registration.

  • If method of payment of "Invoice" is selected, a Purchase Order must be received within three (3) business days before an invoice can be created and sent out to the appropriate billing party/department.

  • It is the responsibilty of the registrant to ensure registration and payment are finalized.

  • If you are attending on an AP Teacher Scholarship, please visit this page for for details and applications.

Registration Fees and Deadlines

Fees & Deadlines

  • Early bird registration fee is $525. You must register online before Friday, March 2nd by the close of business to take advantage of the early bird registration.

  • Regular registration fee of $550. Regular Registration for APSI 2018 June Workshops begins Friday, July 6th.

  • Late registration fee is $600. Late registration will close Friday, July 13th

  • All payments made by check or PO must be submitted by July 6, 2018.

Cancellations & Substitutions


Any refunds for cancellation must be submitted by Friday, July 6th.

Please email us and declare that you are no longer attending the institute and are requesting a refund. Include your name and the subject of the workshop.

All cancellations will incur a $50 fee.


Please email us the name of the current teacher, the name of the workshop, the new teacher, and the point of contact whom will be processing any revised purchase orders or further payment. substitutions cannot be made after deadline dates. These are very important deadlines, as it guarantees your signed, official certificate at the end of the institute.

Substitutions must be submitted by Friday, July 6th.

All substitutions will incur a $50 fee.

Certification and Attendance Policy

Participants meet for 30 hours of instruction during the week and must attend at least 90% of the workshop (i.e., miss no more than three hours of instruction) in order to receive a certificate of completion. Participants will be expected to sign attendance sheets twice a day to record their presence. Participants will also be required to fill out an evaluation form in order to receive their certificate.

Workshop Cancellation

UTSA will make every effort to maintain the published schedule of workshops; however, we reserve the right to make any necessary changes and/or cancellations. If a workshop is changed or canceled, all participants will be notified immediately and will be given the opportunity to transfer to an open workshop or receive a full refund.
