We offer both individual classroom training at UTSA and group, on-site training courses at your organization for up to 20 attendees. For each course, each attendee will receive a binder of course materials. This course is offered as a way for individuals with no prior experience to pursue a Lean Six-Sigma Yellow Belt Certification via classroom based lecture/training. Individuals who successfully complete the course will be able to help conduct Six-Sigma projects for an organization to pursue operational improvement in order to provide the best products and/or services with the highest quality and lowest cost possible.
To successfully obtain this certification, each Green Belt trainee must work independently on a company project, following definition, analysis, proposal for improvements and implementation stages with clear demonstration of applying Lean and/or six sigma tools and concepts. The Project should result in good cost savings ($50K) and/or enhanced revenue, reduced time or equivalent value in quality improvement of products or services provided to customers.
This is a customized program offered on-site at your facility (for the convenience of your company employees) with training courses, hands-on simulation games, video clips, and requirements from the trainees to successfully conduct chosen company cases as projects to showcase their understanding and mastering the concepts, tools, and techniques.
This program is offered to individuals who already received Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification and have successfully conducted 5 Black Belt level projects or have mentored 10 Black Belt program participants to fulfill their project requirement and certification process.
