Dear Faculty and Staff,
As you know, the majority of UTSA’s workforce is currently working and instructing remotely. Subsequently, many of you have asked questions regarding your parking permits while we remain off campus. I am writing today to let you know that we hear and understand your concerns.
At this time, the university has decided to suspend monthly payroll deductions for employee parking permits. This suspension will apply to May 1 and June 1 paychecks, reflecting that we are not on campus during the months of April and May.
If you purchased your permit in full, you will receive a refund for the months of April and May. The university is working to finalize the refund process and more information will be provided once available.
As we continue to monitor the ongoing pandemic, the university will consider extending these adjustments to parking permits on a month-by-month basis.
