- Staff submit nominations - Benefits-eligible staff and faculty can submit a nomination. Staff may self-nominate or submit a nomination on behalf of their peers.
- Divisional review committee - Each division has a committee which, in partnership with their division leaders, will review nominees and select who becomes a Semifinalist.
- Final Review Committee - Consisting of members of Staff Senate and one representative from each division, the committee will select the final Award Winners.
Faculty
- College Nominee Submission - Each college follows its own process for selecting nominees, although all nominations must adhere to the eligibility requirements outlined on the Faculty Awards section of this website.
- Faculty Success Review - The colleges submit nominations are submitted to the Faculty Success team to be reviewed to ensure adherence to eligibility criteria.
- Faculty Awards Committees Selection - Each award is overseen by a dedicated Faculty Awards Committee. Committees are provided with a scoring rubric tailored to the specific award. Committee members independently evaluate each nominee using the rubric, assigning scores across various categories. Once all evaluations are complete, the scores for each nominee are totaled and averaged by dividing the total score by the number of committee members. The nominee(s) with the highest average score is selected as the award winner(s).
