3rd Texas Latino Policy Symposium: COVID-19 and the Effects on Texas Latino Population

Faculty and staff from the College for Health, Community and Policy are organizing the third Texas Latino Policy Symposium convenes academics, practitioners and activists from across the state to engage in discussions that examine the needs of our Latino population and the impact of COVIpolicy D-19 in Texas. The goal of this symposium is to formulate policy responses to propose to the Texas legislature that redress the disproportionate lasting impact the pandemic has had on Latino families. Panels explore the issues by focusing on the following areas: health and human resources, labor and employment, education, housing and development.
