Student Experience Survey
As a learning community fostering dialog and discovery, it is imperative that we provide opportunities for students to have their voices heard regarding their experiences at UTSA.
Last spring, we conducted the university’s first comprehensive Student Experience Survey to gather your perspectives and experiences around various topics, including communication, management, student organizations, campus culture, and inclusivity. Below are the high-level survey results, which offer a glimpse into how students regard UTSA’s strengths and areas of opportunity. This data is highly representative given the above average 12% response rate. National average student response rates are approximately 10%.

UTSA to conduct student experience survey to assess student climate
Student Experience Survey Results Town Hall
Thursday, March 3 at 12:00 p.m.
Students are invited to attend this virtual event to learn about the Student Experience Survey results. This town hall will include remarks from campus leadership and a presentation of the survey results by Rich Boyer, founding partner of ModernThink, LLC. There will be time for students to ask questions and learn more about how the survey data can inform strategies to promote a welcoming and inclusive environment at UTSA.
