UTSA’s home page—together with other top-level pages—serves as a primary gateway for the external community to learn about the university.

UTSA’s home page is first and foremost a marketing tool. Content for the home page and other top-level pages is developed with an eye towards those primary external audiences that impact revenue for the university, particularly prospective students/families, prospective donors, government officials and other funding agencies.

Additionally, is a vehicle for reputation enhancement among a wide variety of other audiences, including alumni, the media, research partners, community stakeholders and prospective faculty.

University Marketing oversees content and design for UTSA’s top-level pages, in close collaboration with designated liaisons representing the university’s academic, strategic enrollment, research and development enterprises.
