As part of our mission to protect, promote and advance the UT San Antonio brand, University Strategic Communications provides professional counsel to help units across the university manage sensitive issues.

Despite best efforts, there may be situations where UT San Antonio stakeholders express concern or have disagreements with a particular point of view. Current social or geopolitical events may exacerbate those situations.

This requires a thoughtful and strategic response from the university. Using a holistic approach, University Strategic Communications staff are available to help you work through controversial situations that require care, attention to detail and proper messaging.

Issues that have the potential to impact overall institutional policy may be elevated to the Campus Climate Council.
