OIT Staff Attend SECC Area Champion Training

UTSA held training on the upcoming State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) Tuesday, September 22 at the UTSA Main Campus UC Denman room. OIT staff including Vanessa Kenon, assistant vice provost; Linda Dunn, director of student computing services; Diana Amis, instructional development specialist; Victoria Cruz, telecommunication systems specialist; & Francisco Esparza, enterprise systems programmer, attended the event and will all serve as Area Champions for questions about the campaign. The SECC runs from October 1 through October 31, during which time UTSA faculty and staff can expect to receive information about the campaign as well as a pledge form.

 

A 2015 SECC kickoff event will be held during the Agency Fair October 1-2 at all three UTSA campuses. Faculty & staff who attend the fair will receive a FREE $5 voucher (limited supply available) to use at the Starbucks locations at the Main and Downtown campuses.

About SECC

The State Employee Charitable Campaign (SECC) is the workplace giving campaign for State of Texas employees, including state universities and colleges. The University of Texas at San Antonio participates in the SECC with the coordination of donations managed by the United Way of San Antonio and Bexar County.
