Welcome back faculty and staff from the holiday break! As we prepare for the students to return next week, we wanted to remind you of a few great (and free) products that we offer to help you easily collaborate with your peers, store important files, and get the information you need quickly.

Qualtrics: Qualtrics is an online survey solutions that makes it easy to  capture academic insights for areas such as academic research, experimental design, student satisfaction, alumni outreach, program administration, institutional assessment, and course and professor evaluation. Office Pro Plus: UTSA students, faculty, and staff can download Microsoft Office 2016 software on up to five personal devices for free through OneDrive for Business. Microsoft Office 2016 includes Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, PowerPoint, and OneNote. Users can download this suite for their Mac or Windows computers.

To access these powerful tools:

    • Visit my.utsa.edu and select OneDrive for Business.
    • Click the gear icon in the top right corner of the screen.
    • Select Office 365 Settings.
    • Select Software to manage your downloads.

OneDrive for Business: OneDrive for Business offers cloud storage for Category II and III files. OneDrive for Business is accessible anytime and from any device with an internet connection. You can easily access your UTSA OneDrive for Business account from your UTSA staff webmail page. Just sign in using your myUTSA ID and passphrase. SharePoint Online: SharePoint Online is UTSA's collaboration tool that allows users to create team sites specifically for your team. Files can be safely uploaded, stored, and shared with only the users you want to view. SharePoint Online keeps track of who edited your file and when and also saves versions of the files in case you need to go back. For more information about SharePoint Online, please click here.
