OIT Hosts Special Office365 Training at the Downtown Campus

The UTSA Office of Information Technology (OIT) hosted an Office365 training for the UTSA Institute of Economic Development at the Downtown Campus on October 25. Held in the Durango Building (DB 1.402), the interactive session provided attendees with a look at Office365, which is available for FREE to the entire UTSA community.

Communications Specialist Nicole Duff and Project Coordinator Rosalind Ong De Trevino led the training, which was divided into four modules. The training focused on the following resources, aimed at helping to not only improve communication, but also productivity and efficiency:

  1. The Outlook Web App (OWA)
  2. OneDrive for Business
  3. Skype for Business
  4. Power BI and Sway

 

Telecommunications Manager Mary-Margaret Echevarria and Communications Specialist Danicia Steele assisted attendees with navigating the products explored.

Each semester, OIT offers FREE training for UTSA faculty and staff to help familiarize them with the resources available to enhance their experience at UTSA.
