Research Interests

At the present my research focuses on models of inflation in cosmology. My students and I are studying possible alternatives to the standard scalar inflaton field scenario, in particular the possibility of vector inflation and the generation of primordial magnetic fields. In the past I have also done research in CP violation in particle physics, mathematical physics, general relativity and foundations of quantum mechanics.
