The University of Texas at San Antonio Police Department is committed to the development, implementation and continuation of appropriate victim/witness services. It is our goal to create good rapport between law enforcement professionals and those persons within our society who have been directly affected by crime. For copies of police reports, contact the Records section at 210-458-4417 during normal business hours.
Efforts are made to inform members of the campus community on a timely basis about campus crime and crime related issues. These efforts include the following:
Daily Crime Log This is a summary of offenses by date of report for the last 60 days. This information is provided to the public in accordance with the Clery Act. This report is also available for review at the Police Department lobby during normal business hours.
2018 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report The UTSA Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available to download online at www.utsa.edu/publicsafety/files/2018SecurityFireReport.pdf or in hard copy by request at the Public Safety Department located in the Bosque Building. This report is required of all universities by federal law, provides crime statistics for the previous three years and includes certain UTSA policy statements concerning campus security (such as policy statements regarding sexual assault, alcohol and other drugs).
Campus Alert Flyers In special circumstances printed crime alerts are prepared and distributed selectively or randomly throughout campus.
The following statistics, provided in compliance with the Crime Awareness and Campus Security Act of 1990, are for your information. They are calculated on a calendar year basis and include crimes that occurred on all of the UTSA campuses and on property owned/controlled by UTSA.
The Community Crime Map provides access to crime statistics reported to the San Antonio Police Department. Search for crime data by address location.
