Reports and Statistics

The University of Texas at San Antonio Police Department is committed to the development, implementation and continuation of appropriate victim/witness services. It is our goal to create good rapport between law enforcement professionals and those persons within our society who have been directly affected by crime. For copies of police reports, go to Open Records to request a copy. Questions concerning police records, contact the Records section at 210-458-4417 during normal business hours.

Crime Reporting

Efforts are made to inform members of the campus community on a timely basis about campus crime and crime related issues. These efforts include the following:

Daily Crime Log — This is a summary of offenses by date of report for the last 60 days. This information is provided to the public in accordance with the Clery Act. This report is also available for review at the Police Department lobby during normal business hours.

2022 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report — The 2022 Annual Security and Fire Safety Report is available to download here. This report is required of all universities by federal law, provides crime statistics for the previous three years and includes certain UTSA policy statements concerning campus security (such as policy statements regarding sexual assault, alcohol and other drugs).

Campus Alert Flyers — In special circumstances printed crime alerts are prepared and distributed selectively or randomly throughout campus.
