Building Maintenance

UTSA Facilities provides high-quality, prompt building maintenance in order to ensure Roadrunners have an excellent place to work, learn and discover.

Common building maintenance issues include:

  •    Light bulb replacement
  •    Room temperature adjustments
  •    Plumbing concerns
  •    Broken windows
  •    Doors that do not close properly
  •    Broken or damaged classroom furniture

Submitting a Building Maintenance Request

The steps below will guide you through how to submit a building maintenance request.

  1. Access the Facilities Work Request portal.
  2. Complete the “Maintenance Request” form. All fields in red are required. Please provide as much detail as possible in the “Action Requested” field.
  3. Once you have completed the form, click “Save.”
  4. A confirmation page will be displayed after you successfully submit the request.
  5. The Facilities Service Center will process your request and email you a work order number.
  6. You can monitor the progress of your work order using the “Search by Number” feature of the Facilities Work Request Portal.
  7. When the work order is complete, you will receive an email notification and an invitation to complete a customer satisfaction survey.
