Research: Dr. Morrison's current research involves material and thermal property characterization of lunar simulants to evaluate their use in construction applications on the Moon. He also works on the evolution and emplacement of cryolava flows on the surfaces of icy bodies in the outer solar system.

Research: Currently, I am working on a project to investigate thermal properties of lunar simulants by using differential scanning calorimeters (DSC), high temperature rheometers and viscometers, and light flash analysis (LFA) to evaluate potential of using lunar regolith in construction applications on the Moon.
