Donate items for S.A. Food Bank at President's Holiday Breakfast Dec. 4
(Nov. 20, 2012) -- UTSA President Ricardo Romo and Dr. Harriett Romo will host a holiday breakfast for faculty, staff and student leaders from 9:30 to 11 a.m., Tuesday, Dec. 4 in the University Center Ballroom (1.104) on the Main Campus.
The university community also will have the opportunity to donate nonperishable food items to the UTSA Holiday Food Drive benefiting the San Antonio Food Bank. Boxed and canned goods can be dropped off at the breakfast; however, please do not bring items in glass containers.
The food bank is most in need of these items:
- Peanut butter
- Cereal
- Tuna
- Beans
- Rice
- Macaroni and cheese mixes
- Chili
- Canned stews
- Canned soups
- Canned luncheon meats
- Full meals in a can or box
- Pop-top food items
