UTSA community invited to submit proposals for March 6 Student Affairs Conference
(Sept. 22, 2014) -- Faculty, staff and graduate students from the UTSA and San Antonio communities are invited to share their knowledge and experience at the seventh annual UTSA Student Affairs Conference. The conference will be Friday, March 6, 2015, with the theme "Grow More to Give More."
Sponsored by the Student Affairs Staff Development Team, the annual conference provides UTSA Student Affairs staff an opportunity to gain insight about professional development, developing student success programs, improving campus life and much more. To further enhance both professional development and networking opportunities, conference attendance is also open to our colleagues across UTSA and at other local institutions.
As we aspire to give great service to our students, it is essential that student affairs staff grow in our professional skills, knowledge, leadership and motivation. Conference presenters play a vital role in giving back to UTSA and the Division of Student Affairs by taking part in developing our staff to directly contribute to student success.
To share your expertise with fellow staff by presenting at the conference, fill out the Call for Proposals form by the deadline of Monday, Oct. 27. Topical areas for presentation include leadership, team building, customer service, student success, student learning, supervision, distinct student populations and much more. Those selected to present at the conference will be notified by Thursday, Nov. 13.
