UTSA Campus Recreation hosts eighth annual Rowdy Rec Run Nov. 8
(Oct. 27, 2014) -- UTSA Campus Recreation will host the eighth annual Rowdy Rec Run 5K at 8 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 8 at the Recreation and Wellness Center on the Main Campus. Registration will be 6 to 7:45 a.m. Everyone in the UTSA and San Antonio communities is invited to participate.
The 5K race with walking and running on the UTSA Main Campus promotes health and wellness and supports ProRec, a student organization focused on professional development for those aspiring to go into the field of recreation.
Race participants will receive an event T-shirt. Registration is only $15 for UTSA students and $25 for everyone else. If you register as a team, there is a $5 discount on your registration fee. The entry fee will increase to $20 and $30, respectively, on the day of the race.
Awards will be presented to the top three males and females, best costume, fastest group and largest group.
