UTSA Main Campus air conditioning system will be serviced Nov. 28-29

(Nov. 24, 2014) -- The North Thermal Energy Plant on the UTSA Main Campus will be shut down from 6 p.m., Friday, Nov. 28 to 6 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 29. The shutdown is for maintenance on valves in the air conditioning system that services many campus buildings.

The South Thermal Energy Plant will continue operating during the shutdown of the other plant to provide limited cooling for campus buildings.

The buildings affected are:

  • Alvarez Hall
  • Applied Engineering and Technology Building
  • Arts Building
  • Biosciences Building
  • Biotechnology, Sciences and Engineering Building
  • Bosque Street Building
  • Business Building
  • Convocation Center
  • Engineering Building
  • Flawn Sciences Building
  • John Peace Library
  • Main Building
  • McKinney Humanities Building
  • Multidisciplinary Studies Building
  • North Paseo Building
  • Physical Education Building
  • Plaza Norte Building
  • Recreation and Wellness Center
  • University Center (all buildings)
