Social media consultant Eric Stoller to speak at UTSA Main Campus Jan. 15
(Jan. 14, 2015) -- The UTSA Division of Student Affairs will host a presentation by social media consultant Eric Stoller on the importance, pros and cons of maintaining a digital identity through social media. The presentation, "Social Media is Your Digital Identity: The Good, The Bad and the Ugly," will be 1-2:30 p.m., Thursday, Jan. 15 in H-E-B University Center Ballroom 2. The presentation is free and open to students, faculty and staff.
Stoller is a higher education thought-leader, consultant, writer and speaker. He frequently gives keynotes on how administrators can use social media strategically and is a proponent for teaching students about digital identity development.
With a background in student affairs, academic advising, wellness, technology and communications, Stoller focuses his energies on educating clients and captivating audiences. As the student affairs and technology blogger for Inside Higher Ed, he generates conversations, answers questions and provides insight about a variety of tech topics.
Stoller received an Associate of Arts degree from Indian Hills Community College, a Bachelor of Arts in Communications degree from the University of Northern Iowa and an Ed.M. in College Student Services Administration from Oregon State University.
