UTSA Financial Aid and Enrollment Services is FedLoan servicing champion
(Jan. 12, 2015) -- The UTSA Office of Student Financial Aid and Enrollment Services has been named a national champion in a competition conducted by FedLoan Servicing (PHEAA), one of the U.S. Department of Education’s primary student loan servicing agencies.
The At-Risk Delinquency Resolution Contest awards schools maintain the highest cure rate of students delinquent on repayment of student loans. The UTSA office scored a 46.67 percent cure rate, meaning those students removed themselves from delinquency and into a successful repayment plan.
The overall efforts of the Office of Student Financial Aid and Enrollment Services aids in lowering the university’s loan default rate in order to remain in compliance with government regulations.
