UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game to be played on Saturday at the Alamodome

(April 15, 2015) -- The Fifth Annual UTSA Football Fiesta Spring Game will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, April 18, at the Alamodome. Admission is free.

Parking is available for $15/space in Lots A and B. Gates to the parking lots will open at 11 a.m. Tailgating will be allowed in Lot B only. Please note that Fiesta Carnival will be located in Lot C and also opens at 11 a.m. For more information on parking and tailgating at the Alamodome, please visit www.alamodome.com/plan-your-visit/directions-parking.

UTSA students, faculty and staff may catch a ride with a bus service provided by UTSA Transportation with departures beginning at 11:30 a.m. in front of the Convocation Center. The return service will leave from Lot A just south of the Alamodome up to 30 minutes following the conclusion of the game.

Doors will open at noon at the north and south entrances and fan seating will be located on the east side of the Plaza Level. Concessions will be available and an autograph session with the players will take place on the field after the conclusion of the game.

Andy Everett, the voice of the Roadrunners, will host a one-hour pregame show at noon that will air live on Ticket 760 AM. It also can be heard online at Ticket760.com and with the free iHeartRadio mobile app.

The Spring Game will mark the conclusion of the Roadrunners' spring season of 15 workouts. It will pit the offense (white/QBs in orange) against the defense (navy) and consist of four 12-minute quarters with normal clock rules in the first half and a running clock in the second following a 10-minute halftime.

The offense and defense will use an adjusted scoring system with the following point breakdown:

Offense
touchdown — 6
extra point — 1
two-point conversion — 2
field goal — 3
first down — 1

Defense
stop (scoreless drive) — 3
takeaway/safety — 5 (trumps a stop)
