(May 26, 2015) – The UTSA College of Public Policy (COPP) and its Department of Criminal Justice will host their inaugural Golf Tournament for Scholarships on Friday, June 5 at the Silverhorn Golf Club, 1100 W. The Golf Tournament will raise scholarship funds for UTSA students pursuing a degree in Criminal Justice. It will also provide students and faculty in the Criminal Justice department with the opportunity to network with the community.
“The proceeds from this golf tournament will help provide access to educational excellence for UTSA students in the Criminal Justice program,” said Richard Hartley, chair of the UTSA Department of Criminal Justice. “This tournament is just one more way that our college is fostering relationships with local non-profit and corporate agencies to help our students succeed."
