(Aug. 11, 2015) — Every day, this unique, stainless steel sculpture sits gleaming in the sunlight in middle of the open-air patio on the fourth floor of the John Peace Library. "Whirl (2006)," by artist Brad Howe, is one of many sculptures that decorate the landscape of the UTSA Main and Downtown Campuses. Its sculpted form gives the impression of a flowing, writhing movement and serves as a perfect companion for quiet lunches in the middle of the day. The sculpture was acquired for the UTSA Art Collection in 2007.
