UTSA photo of the day: Taking the "Monarch Pledge"
(Dec. 15, 2015) — San Antonio Mayor Ivy Taylor took the National Wildlife Federation’s “Monarch Pledge” to protect and educate the public about Texas’s state insect, the monarch butterfly. She also issued a proclamation to honor the UTSA team, led by Janis Bush, professor of environmental sciences, that has been working to determine whether the monarch is endangered.
