Recognize UTSA students who have impacted your life
(Feb. 21, 2017) -- As the 41st Annual University Life Awards approaches, The University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) students, faculty and staff are encouraged to join the UTSA Student Government Association (SGA) in celebrating one of the most prestigious events of the year in a Night Under the Stars! Nominations are now open to all current UTSA students, faculty and staff to recognize those who have impacted their experience here within the UTSA community in an outstanding way. The deadline for nominations is Friday, March 10.
Access the nomination form on RowdyLink using your ABC123 log-in and password. Go to the Student Government Association page and select "Forms."
The University Life Awards were founded in 1976 and are hosted by the SGA. The awards recognize achievement in leadership, academics and community involvement.
The highlight of the University Life Awards is the presentation of the Golden Feather, a UTSA lifetime achievement award for student leaders. Past Golden Feather winners have gone on to study law, higher education, administration and work for Fortune 500 companies.
UTSA community members are invited to the award ceremony at 6 p.m. on Thursday, April 6th in the H-E-B University Center Ballroom (HUC 1.104) on Main Campus. Formal attire is encouraged.

UTSA Southwest CampusJoin the PEACE Center and Wellbeing Services for Denim Day, a day of learning about the importance of consent and why we wear denim on the last Wednesday of the month each April during Sexual Assault Awareness Month. Stop by our Denim Day display to take a photo in front of our Denim Wall, spin the "Is It Consent?" Wheel, and get a Concha or goodie.
