Refresher Compliance Training 2007

Refresher Compliance Training 2007 was conducted from
February 1 to February 28, 2007. All faculty and staff hired before February 1, 2006 were required to complete Refresher Compliance Training this fiscal year to meet UT System and the State of Texas training requirements.

The initial completion rates were near 90%! For the first time, The Learning Source, UTSA’s integrated learning system was used to provide this web-based training. This system provided notification to employees of assignment of refresher training modules and several reminder notices to employees as the February 28 deadline approached.

During the month of March, Compliance staff worked with department administrative professionals, department chairs, directors and managers to encourage those employees who had not completed Refresher Compliance Training to do so. In past years the final completion rates for this training has been nearly 100%.  We hope to repeat our success rate this year.
