UTSA requires employees to take Complaince Acknowledgments each year. This is designed to refresh the rules and policies that UTSA has established. top

As a temporary employee/student employee, do I have to take compliance Acknowledgements?
Yes, as of November 1, 2006, UTSA requires all employees to complete Compliance Acknowledgements. top

How long will these Acknowledgements take?
Compliance Acknowledgements take approximately two hours and you do not have to take it all in one sitting.  Just be sure that you complete all of your Acknowledgements by the due date.top

Where do I complete Compliance Acknowledgements ?
You can access and complete your Compliance Acknowledgements from any computer that has internet access. Click here to access the Learning Source

What if I just completed Compliance Acknowledgements?
February 2, 2009 ALL UTSA employees will be assigned Compliance Acknowledgements. If you have recently completed Compliance Acknowledgements you are still required to complete the Refresher Compliance Acknowledgements. Refresher Compliance Acknowledgements for 2009 contains some new and updated information for ALL UTSA employees.

Why do I get so many emails that my staff has to do Compliance Acknowledgements?
As a supervisor you will receive an email if an employee on your staff does not have an email listed in DEFINE. You will also receive an email if an employee on your staff is past due on their Compliance Acknowledgements. top

What happens if I do not take Compliance Acknowledgements?
All UTSA employees are required to complete Compliance Acknowledgements. New employees are assigned Compliance Acknowledgements and existing employee are assigned Compliance Acknowledgements once a year. If you are assigned Compliance Acknowledgements you will be notified by email. If you do not complete you acknowledgements by your due date, your supervisor is notified and Vice Presidents are notified of those employees who are not in compliance. top

How will I know if I have to take Compliance Acknowledgements ?
If you are required to complete Compliance Acknowledgements you will be notified by email. If you do not have your email listed in DEFINE, your supervisor will receive an email notifying them that you are required to complete Compliance Acknowledgements. top

As a director, how can I check if my staff has completed their
Compliance Acknowledgements ?
You may check the status of your departments' Compliance Acknowledgements by following the steps listed below.

Log into the Learning Source.
On the right side of the screen, click on the My Training History link that is indicated with a gold star. 
By clicking that link, it will take you to a list of all employees within your department.
Click on the employees name and you will be able to access their entire training history.
