Campus Garage Information

UTSA currently has four garages with the newest being the Bauerle Rd Garage. Please refer below to the specific garages, what permits can be used, or what options are available for paid short-term parking.

• Bauerle Road Garage (BRG)

Located adjacent the Main Building and John Peace Library, the Bauerle Rd Garage offers hourly paid parking and garage permit holder parking. In addition, it houses a Convenience Store, Spirit Store, as well as the Alumini, Welcome Center, and Office of University Communications. The Bauerle Rd Garage is convenient to the central core of campus.

Permits that will be valid in this garage will be: EBR, SBR, & BRN

Note: Validation stickers can only be redeemed during Cashier Operating Hours.

Garage Cashier Hours of Operation

Monday - Thursday, 7:30AM - 10:00PM

Friday, 7:30AM - 9:00PM.

Parking Fast Pass will be valid in this facility

• Ximenes Ave Garage (XAG) (formerly South Garage)

Located between the University Center and Applied Engineering & Technology Buildings, the Ximenes Ave Garage offers hourly paid parking and garage permit holder parking. The Ximenes Ave Garage is convenient to the University Center, Multidisciplinary Studies, Science, Engineering, and Applied Engineering & Technology buildings.

Permits that can be used at this garage are: EXG, SXG, & XGN

Note: Validation stickers can only be redeemed during Cashier Operating Hours.

Note: Spaces marked Electric Vehicle Only are designated for use by vehicles requiring recharging. As such, these spaces are reserved for electric vehicles only. These vehicles include: Tesla Model S, Ford Focus Electric, Nissan Leaf, Chevy Volt, Mitsubishi I, Toyota Prius PHV, Honda Fit EV, & Smart ED. To avoid a citation, do not park in the spaces marked Electric Vehicle Only, unless you are operating a vehicle that requires recharging.

Monday - Thursday, 7:30AM - 10:00PM

Friday, 7:30AM - 9:00PM.

• Tobin Ave Garage (formerly North Garage)

Located North of the McKinney Humanities and North Paseo Buildings, the Tobin Ave Garage offers parking to permit holders only. The Tobin Ave Garage is convenient to the North Paseo, Bosque St, McKinney Humanities, University Center and Business buildings.

Permits that can be used at this garage are: ETG, STG, RTG & TGN

Note: Validation stickers are NOT valid in this facility.

• Downtown Campus Garage

Located in the heart of the Downtown Campus, the DTC Garage offers parking to permit holders and hourly pre-paid parking.

Permits that can be used at this garage are: EBR, EXG, ETG, SBR, SXG, STG, BRN, XGN, & TGN.

Notice: Hourly Rate is $1.75/hour effective August 22, 2011. No partial hour charges.
