Anne Jimenez: Director and Assistant Dean of Students
Anne Jimenez serves as the Assistant Dean of Students and the Director of Student Conduct and Community Standards at the University of Texas at San Antonio. She is in her sixteenth year with the University in student conduct. Anne serves on the E.P.I.C. Core Team continuing to develop the E.P.I.C.Journey Sanctioning Model. She earned her bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice; criminology and corrections from Sam Houston State University and is a proud Roadrunner having completed her master's degree in Adult and Higher Education Administration at UTSA.
Marian R. Harris serves in the capacity of Administrative Associate II in the office of Student Conduct and Community Standards. She earned her Associates degree in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting from St. Philip's College in 1989. She is a native San Antonian, a product of the San Antonio ISD and a graduate of Fox Tech High School.
Jessica works as a Coordinator for Student Conduct and Community Standards. She holds bachelor's and master's degrees in Criminal Justice from Sul Ross State University where she also gained experience in Residence Life. Jessica proudly served in the United States Coast Guard as a 3rd Class Petty Officer and is currently pursuing her second master's degree in Higher Education Administration from Sam Houston State University.
Robert Sanchez works as a Coordinator for Student Conduct and Community Standards. He was born and raised in San Antonio, Texas and has been a lifelong resident of the city. After graduating from George W. Brackenridge High School, he completed his Bachelor's in Criminal Justice with a Minor in Legal Studies and is currently pursuing a master's in Public Administration at The University of Texas at San Antonio. Robert has worked in higher education for the past 14 years as a police officer and campus coordinator for the Alamo Colleges and now serves the UTSA community. Go Runners!
DeCarius serves as an Assistant Director for Student Conduct and Community Standards. He holds a Bachelor's of Science in Biology from Northwestern State University in Louisiana and is currently completing his Masters of Arts in Student Affairs in Higher Education. He has seven years of experience working within Housing and Residence Life.
John McAvoy serves an Assistant Director for Student Conduct and Community Standards. He earned his bachelor's degree in Psychology from the University of Central Florida, a master's degree in Higher Education Administration from the University of Florida, as well as a master's degree in Organizational Communication from Northeastern University. John has worked in higher education for the past 11 years within Housing and Residence Life at various institutions across the country.
