UTSA COS Summer Research Experience for 2013
Mutual Auditability in Cloud Computing
Students will become engrossed in the field of Cloud Computing and Cyber Security. They will then be introduced into the current state of Cloud Security where they will be performing a variety of attacks and mitigation strategies on various cloud stacks (Joyent Smart Data Center, OpenStack, etc.). Students will then join a team of researchers currently working on mutual auditability using SmartDataCenter and other cutting edge technologies. By the end of the summer, it is expected that students will have a general idea of the capabilities of the various cloud stacks available and their respective strengths/weaknesses along with being able to monitor and mitigate some attacks while being a contributor on a cutting edge research team.
