Continuing Professional Education

Extended Education serves regional adult, professional and continuing education needs through a range of targeted programs that match the university’s unique resources with the lifelong learning needs of South Central Texas. Operating out of the UTSA Downtown Campus, Extended Education works collaboratively with academic and non-academic units of the university to develop and present seminars, online courses, conferences and programs for the general public, professional and governmental agencies, and businesses. Our dedicated staff is here to help you through all registration processes, support for your classes, and can answer many questions about your educational needs.

Interested in the Legal Field? The UTSA Paralegal Program is Searching For Motivated Students

The Paralegal Certificate Program is designed and taught by practicing attorneys to prepare students to be knowledgeable, ethical and effective assistants to attorneys while emphasizing legal areas where paralegals are most in demand. Paralegals, also called legal assistants, perform many tasks, perform many tasks under attorney supervision, such as legal research, document drafting, fact investigation, case management, and preparation for trial.
