Alamodome, UTSA Downtown & Main Campus
Parking at the Alamodome is limited to fans with a season pass. Those who have already purchased permits with their season tickets will have access to the parking lot when the gates open. Spots are available on a first come first served basis. There is no parking available on a per-game basis other than ADA spots.
Students can also park in any unmarked spaces on Saturdays at the Downtown Campus in Lots D3 and D4 under IH 35 near the Alamodome and walk to the game. Students planning on tailgating before the game should contact the lot owner ahead of time to determine their tailgating policies.
Parking is also available on Saturdays in any unmarked space at the UTSA Main Campus in Brackenridge Ave. Lots 1 and 2.
Park & Ride With VIA
Transportation to and from the Alamodome will be provided on game days from three park and ride locations at UTSA’s Main Campus, Cross Roads Mall, and Madia Transit Center. Service to the Alamodome begins three hours before kickoff. The last returning bus departs from the Alamodome 45 minutes after the official end of the game.
VIA Metropolitan Transit will offer park and ride service at the San Antonio Airport for the UTSA-New Mexico game on Oct. 4 and the UTSA-FIU game on Oct. 11. Because of construction at the Airport, park and ride services will NOT be available for the final three games of the season.
VIA Service from the Main Campus
VIA Park & Ride service from the Main Campus will originate at the corner of Brenan Ave. and Tobin Ave. The VIA Token Trailer will be set up north of the Laurel Village Office. Students and the general public may begin purchasing tokens three hours before kickoff. Free public parking will be offered in the Tobin Garage at Tobin Ave. and Cook Road.
VIA Service from the Downtown Campus
Students parking at the Downtown Campus may catch the VIA Alamodome Express service on Buena Vista St. near UTSA Lot D-1. Look for VIA’s temporary bus stop signage and VIA personnel.
Park & Ride Cost
Special event tokens may be purchased in advance at the University Center on the Main Campus at the Roadrunner Express Store, on VIA’s website or at all VIA Information Centers. Tokens also will be available at the park and ride locations on game days.
UTSA students may purchase tokens at a student rate of $1.25 each way. Special event tokens for the public from any VIA game-day pick-up location will cost $2.50 each way. A current UTSA student ID is required to receive the student rate. VIA daily, monthly and semester bus passes ARE NOT valid for special event services.
