Service Projects throughout San Antonio

You are invited to participate in UTSA's Day of Service

Join the UTSA Community in volunteering your time and talents for service projects around the city of San Antonio

Project Sign-Up:

Registration is now closed.

Kick-Off Event:

Breakfast and T-shirts provided (while supplies last)

Shuttles to projects (please make sure your particular project will be providing a shuttle)

Day of Reminders:

Wear comfortable clothes and closed toe shoes(follow dress code based off project needs)

Bring sunscreen, bug spray, hats, sunglasses.

Arrive on time.

Accommodations or Cancellations:

 If you need to cancel your registration for any reason please do so on UTSAEngaged 48 hours or more prior to the day.

  • Animal Defense League of Texas: painting
  • Child Safe: decorating cardboard kids
  • Cibolo Nature Center and Farm: trail work and gardening
  • Early Head Start – Child Care Partnership Program: gardening, painting and playground clean up
  • Habitat for Humanity: building homes
  • Mitchell Lake Audubon Center: trail work and planting
  • Muscular Dystrophy Association South Texas: building kits for San Antonio Fire Dept. Fill the Boot campaign
  • San Antonio Food Bank: sorting and stocking shelves
  • San Antonio Parks: Beautification
  • San Antonio River Walk Association: Mardi Gras Festival preparations
  • San Antonio State Hospital: landscape beautification
  • San Antonio Youth Literary: book sorting
  • The Chromosome 18Registry & Research Society: preparing for the Starfish 5K Run/Walk
  • The DoSeum: family engagement and prepping materials
  • UTSA Campus Garden: gardening clean up
  • UTSA Roadrunner Pantry: cleaning and organizing
  • Work Out Help Out: vegetable garden prep
