Apply for UTSA Housing

Living on campus is a great option for first-year and transfer students, as it offers convenience and an active community. Opportunities to get involved are readily available and will contribute greatly to your overall experience. How do I apply for housing?

Step 1

Log in to the Housing Portal using your myUTSA ID and passphrase, select the housing option you wish to apply for, and follow the instructions to begin the application process.

Step 2

Pay your housing deposit online through the Housing Portal. The total amount of the payment is $300 ($250 deposit and a $50 nonrefundable application fee).

Step 3

Once UTSA Housing has received your application and housing deposit, you will be able to sign and complete the Housing License Agreement. If you are under 18 years of age, it will be necessary to print, complete and mail the Guarantor Signature Page to the address listed on the form.

Step 4

Check your UTSA preferred email account regularly and log back into the Housing Portal to check your application status.
