Involvement Fair 2008

Involvement Fair is an opportunity for student organizations to introduce themselves to students so the students may get involved on campus. It is an excellent opportunity to get your organization’s name out, to recruit new members, and to showcase your organization. Participation is limited to recognized student organizations; therefore you must be registered with Student Activities.

Student Organization Spotlight

This past weekend, the Be a Responsible Roadrunner (BARR) organization traveled to Edmond, Oklahoma Friday through Sunday for a BACCHUS Area 6 Conference. Seniors Dan Iza and Jessica Beemer, and freshmen May Luz and Dorian Rospond represented the organization. The group enjoyed their time bonding with about one another and learning about developing new programs.

On Saturday evening, awards were given for Outstanding Affiliate, Outstanding Program, Outstanding Peer Educator and Outstanding Advisor. The BACCHUS-6 conference representatives announced that BARR President May Luz won Outstanding Peer Educator and the group won Outstanding Program for their fall event, Campus Crawl.

Kelsey Bratcher presented “LeaderFISH”, a leadership workshop, for the conference participants and “The Magic of Advising” for the advisors in attendance.
