If you’re looking for an opportunity to get involved, make a difference, meet new people, and grow as a person, then you’ve come to the right place!

LEAD UTSA is a leadership development program originated and coordinated by the Office of Student Activities. Its purpose is to members of the UTSA community opportunities to develop their leadership skills through experiential learning, peer mentoring, formal classroom study, off-campus and on-campus leadership conferences, and a distinguished lecture series. The core values of LEAD UTSA are:

  • Empowerment – Empowerment of self and others to be the best leaders
  • Purposeful – Purposeful movement toward a common goal
  • Ethical – Making ethical choices
  • Engaged – Engaged in citizenship in our campus community and beyond
  • Partner – Creating intentional partnerships with others and the community

The area of Leadership Development in the Office of Student Activities serves as a resource for students and student organizations who are interested in expanding their leadership skills, addressing specific organizational issues, and assists in general leadership guidance and growth.
